There’s a whole sub-genre of sci-fi movies that deal almost exclusively with male/female relationships: “Cat Women of the Moon”, “Fire Maidens from Outer Space”, “Missile to the Moon”, “Project Moonbase”, “Devil Girl from Mars”, “Abbot & Costello go to Mars”, etc., etc.  There’s gotta be a grant in there somewhere.
